| The Truckee course is based on the actual terrain and road position of Interstate 80, as it passes up and over Donner Summit in California. This initial entry into the series demonstrates the superb blend of the natural environment and the surroundings. All of this has been rendered into a computer video game for the PC. The advancements of the speed and memory capabilities of the modern day PC have spawned the generation of this new exciting driving simulator game. Some of the major advancements made in the Road Trip 2000 Truckee game will be realized if you check out our free demonstration version of the Truckee course. This demo is the first 20 miles of the 76 mile course. Also, the demo is for the daytime only. The full retail version offers the course in both daytime and nighttime rendering. |
